Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's new official residence-cum-office can be any chief minister's envy in the country. Constructed at a cost of more than Rs 60 crore, KCR performed the 'griha pravesam' ceremony at 5.22 am on Thursday.
The house warming ceremony was a low-key affair but after the ceremony, the CM is opening up the house for his ministers and senior party leaders to come and see it.
KCR's nephew Harish Rao, who is the state's irrigation minister, KCR's son K T Rama Rao, IT minister and others came in soon after the pooja to take part in the festivities.
The grand house built on nine-acre land at Geenlands impressed the small crowd that was invited. The media was not invited for the ceremony.
